Our client required a rapid User Experience (UX research) analysis and benchmarking of their digital gaming product against that of both a gold standard business in their industry and a like-for-like competitor.

Process

This dynamic project was completed in just 4 team days and comprised of UX and User Interface (UI) analysis and comparison across a number of key user journeys, including customer support, page layout and navigation, compliance, marketing, and messaging.

Solution

The report contained both visual and experiential analysis of the three comparator mobile apps and associated marketing initiatives (i.e. CRM activity). It highlighted the benefits of each and provided a clear benchmarking scoring matrix for each area of analysis.

Outcome

The report gave the client reassurance that they were performing well against the competition and indeed against the industry gold-standard. Whilst areas for improvement were revealed, they required only a small number of initiatives to level-up against the gold-standard. App feedback proved helpful in guiding ongoing product development roadmap priorities whilst other recommendations to integrated marketing activities and customer support helped to inform wider process changes.
