Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Overview We are looking for somebody who is passionate about creating modern, scalable, and robust solutions based on:

  • Automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and Postman
  • Testing within a Wb Sockets and Event-Driven architecture
  • Exposure to modern JS-based front-ends, like React, and understanding the interactions between frontend and backend systems
  • Has experience interfacing autonomously with clients
  • Is passionate about the principles of agile, and what it means for culture and ways of working
  • Thrives on ambiguity and embraces the challenge of working in a rapidly growing business, and is hungry for empowerment and autonomy
  • Naturally takes ownership and enjoys leading
  • Has experience creating test plans, backlogs, and similar artifacts in collaboration with Business Analysts, Product Owners, etc.

Additionally

  • Experience with event-driven architectures is highly desirable
  • Exposure to the delivery of software within the gambling industry is sought after
  • Experience working within a remote, globally distributed environment is a bonus
  • Spanish language skills are considered favourably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of software solutions.
  • Automation: Build and maintain automation frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Testing and Documentation: Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all developed software. Maintain detailed documentation for test plans, test cases, and testing procedures.
